When machining glass, mirrors, ceramics, stone, a large amount of sludge is formed, polluting the water that is used to cool the product. During the recycling of contaminated water, sludge clogs the cooling system and equipment mechanisms.. To improve the quality of product processing and extend the service life of the equipment, it is necessary to clean the equipment and replace the cooling water quite often with a complete stop of the production process. At the same time, draining such water into the sewer is prohibited.
HTS has carefully studied the problems associated with the deposition of glass and stone sludge in processing machines. For its own glass processing production, the company has developed and implemented an automated recycling water treatment system of the LCS series. This purification system is designed to purify water from sludge. remains of tool abrasive, industrial dirt and is ideal for use in industries engaged in both individual and mass production of products made of glass, mirrors, stone, ceramics.
The fully automated process of water purification from industrial waste in LCS systems takes place in several stages:
- during the first stage, the water coming from the glass-processing equipment is fed into a cone tank for filtration, in which the particles of glass sludge freely settle in the aqueous medium, and the purified water is supplied to the glass-processing equipment;
- during the second stage, repeated every 30 minutes, the flocculation process takes place in the cone filtration tank:
- short-term air supply lifts settled fine particles from the bottom of the tank;
- flocculant is automatically added, which is stirred in the water by a screw;
Flocculant is a harmless substance that combines the smallest particles of glass sludge, remnants of tool abrasive and industrial dirt, forming them into loose floccular clusters, for the fastest deposition at the bottom of the cone. Upon completion of the flocculation process, the settled accumulations are removed from the system into the filtration bag. It is enough to dispose of the glass production waste accumulated in the bag at the end of the work shift as ordinary garbage.
When using this system in your production, YOU:
- improve the quality of processing glass, mirrors, stone, ceramics;
- you increase the service life of mechanisms of processing equipment and diamond tools;
- save effort, time and money for the disposal of glass and stone processing waste;
- minimize the defect of manufactured products associated with contamination of the cooling system pipes of processing equipment;
- significantly reduce the load on the sewage system and the cost of its maintenance;
- significant water savings - there is no need to change the water frequently.
